The 2018 Viewpoint Series will entail three public lectures and three public seminars over the course of the semester. Public seminars, on the Friday following the lectures, will be closely focused on assigned readings and encouraging of engagement and debate. The first seminar in the series is titled, "Orientations and outcomes, Or how to begin and what to expect" and will involve readings from Mary Ruefle and Ben Shahn.
