Christina Bain appointed Higher Education Regional Director for the NAEA's western region

Dr. Christina Bain has been appointed the Higher Education Regional Director for the National Art Education Association's western region for the next two years. Dr. Bain also serves on the NAEA Research Commission and recently completed the 2022 School for Arts Leaders course. She also presented at the 2023 NAEA Conference her workshop "Basket Cases: Weaving Current Stories Through a Traditional Media" with Jenny Evans. The workshop introduced participants to diverse contemporary artists who use basketry for storytelling to address personal and social issues.
