David Stuart featured in a new National Geographic show "The Rise and Fall of the Maya"

David Stuart and the department is featured in the second episode of a National Geographic Channel TV series, “The Rise and Fall of the Maya.” The episode, "Civilizations," covers new evidence unearthed in Mexico’s Yucutan that is transforming long held ideas about the growth of the Maya civilization. 

The Department of Art and Art History is also featured in the episode as the crew visited campus while filming in 2022. The episode will next be shown May 18, 2024. More information on the show can be found here.
