UT alumna Hayley Austin (BFA in Studio Art, 2009) will publish her first monograph with Kris Graves Projects in April 2020. The book, entitled, The Springs, is comprised of photographs made in Las Vegas in 2018.
The publisher Kris Graves Projects collaborates with artists to create limited edition publications and archival prints, focusing on contemporary photography and works on paper. They focus publishing efforts on stories that empower the long forgotten and underrepresented. These stories deal with issues of race, policy, social awareness, feminism, culture, and wealth.
The Springs is a limited edition of 250 and available for pre-sale on the Kris Graves Projects website. The book launch will be held at Paris Photo New York and the L.A. Art Book Fair this April.
