Margo Sawyer's Synchronicity of Color: Kosovo wins International CODAawards Merit Award

Professor Margo Sawyer's Synchronicity of Color: Kosovo received Merit honors in the category of Institutional at the International CODAawards. The project was a collaboration of Sawyer, glass fabricator Franz Mayer of Munich, and commissioner Art in Embassies for the US Embassy in Pristina, Kosovo. The project features an immersive architectural float glass spiral that was inspired by the rhythm of patterns and structures within the National Library of Kosovo in Pristina created by architect Andrija Mutnjaković.
