Teresa Hubbard / Alexander Birchler solo exhibition at The Giacometti Foundation

William and Bettye Nowlin Professor of Studio Art Teresa Hubbbard and Associate Professor of Practice Alexander Birchler, Co-Area Heads Photography & Media at the Department of Art and Art History, will present their Venice Biennale piece, Flora, and the accompanying work, Bust, at The Giacometti Foundation in Paris. The solo exhibition will be on view from April 5 - June 9, 2019. 

After its inaugural presentation at the 57th Venice Biennale, Hubbard and Birchler's Flora has made its way stateside to its US-premiere at LACMA in January 2019. Ever since, the work has been praised by media and critics alike, from Hyperallergic to The LA Times; Artnet dubbed the exhibition one of "22 'unmissable shows' in America" in January.
