Professor of Art History Eddie Chambers has curated "12-inch Messages: A Brief History of African-American Spoken Word Vinyl Records," an exhibit on the third floor of the Fine Arts Library. The exhibit features vinyls from the 60s and 70s, the height of African-American spoken word records, with recordings from figures such as Maya Angelou, Langston Hughes, Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and Malcolm X. The records will be on display in the library through Fall 2017.
