In the Spring of 2018, Trenton Doyle Hancock served as the Spring 2018 Visiting Chair in Fine and Performing Arts at The University of Texas at Austin's Department of Art and Art History. During his residency, Hancock was given dedicated time and space for creating new work and asked to engage with UT Austin students through two public lectures, studio visits and seminars. Undergraduate students in Print were given the opportunity to work with Hancock to create printed matter in conjunction with his Spring 2019 Mind of the Mound:Critical Mass exhibition at MASS MoCA. Working with the Risograph printer, project manager and Junior Studio Art major Kendall Bradley led a team of students in the design, execution and production of approximately 800 booklets that will accompany other works by Hancock at MASS MoCA.
