In my exploration of printmaking, I aim to blend tradition with innovation, crafting visually striking pieces that engage viewers on both conceptual and tactile levels. I am intrigued by the interaction between structure and spontaneity. By incorporating a diverse range of techniques, including paper-making and sculptural elements, I seek to disrupt the "flat" print world, infusing it with depth and texture all while expanding the notion of a standard edition.
Within my art, I engage in a dialogue between chaos and order, exploring patterns as language and ornament as more than mere decoration. My Armenian heritage is a foundational influence that shapes the content, style, and often the conceptual underpinnings of my artistic practice. My work challenges viewers to transcend the boundaries of traditional prints, inviting them to unravel the mysteries of meaning and encouraging deeper contemplation.
